  • Why Should I Vote?

    The United States is a democracy. This means that Voting in Elections allows you to choose your leaders. Elected Officials are people in government with the power to make changes that affect your life and your community.

  • How Do I Vote?

    When you register to vote, you add your name to the list of voters in Georgia. You can register in person, online, or by mail. Online, you can Register at My Voter Page.

  • Who Can I Vote For?

    Branch Politics is an organization that provides Georgia voters with trustworthy information about candidates. To use the Branch website, type in your Georgia address to see a list of the candidates on your ballot. You will also find information about each candidate’s positions on various issues. At the Branch site, you can choose the candidates you want to vote for. If you print your choices, you are allowed to bring this list when you vote in person!

  • Where Can I Vote?

    Where you vote depends on how you vote. If you take part in Early Voting in person, you vote at an election office in your county. If you vote In Person on Election Day, you go to the Polling Place in your Precinct. If you vote absentee, you apply for a ballot, complete it on your own or with help, and take it or send it to your county Election Office.

  • When Can I Vote?

    You can vote in-person on election day. You can vote via absentee voting by applying for an absentee ballot. You can vote early from October 17 to November 4 at any polling location in your county.

    There are three kinds of elections: Primary Election, General Election, and Runoff Election. Each kind of election has its own schedule. Election Day is November 8.
